Our first stop is Piazza Santo Spirito, where you’ll learn the story of Brunelleschi’s last architectural masterpiece, home to Michelangelo’s wooden crucifix. Just a few minutes later, the grandeur of Piazza Pitti awaits, with its imposing palace, once residence of the Dukes of Tuscany, and today home to seven state museums including the Boboli Gardens and the Palatine Gallery, housing works by Raphael, Caravaggio, Titian, Rubens, and Van Dyck.
