A self-guided journey through the authentic Tuscan countryside
Start your own adventure from Florence and discover the most authentic side of Tuscany on this self-guided ride.
With over 30 years of experience designing cycling itineraries, we’ve created the perfect route for exploring vineyards, villas, olive groves, and timeless Tuscan villages at your own pace.
After check-in at our Florence office in the Oltrarno district, you’ll receive a full briefing, your bike or E-bike, helmet, branded water bottle, and phone holder with an offline digital map (no internet connection needed). The route includes scenic paths, panoramic climbs, and cultural stops along the way.
Along the route, you can choose to stop for lunch at a historic countryside farm and restaurant dating back to the 15th century (lunch not included). Here, you may enjoy a picnic among the vineyards, a traditional panino with local products, or a seated lunch at the farm’s elegant restaurant.
For the return to Florence, select between a longer scenic route towards San Casciano for even more countryside views, or an easier ride back to the city. You may also add optional stops at Piazzale Michelangelo and San Miniato al Monte for Florence’s most iconic viewpoints.
Navigation is easy and stress-free thanks to our curated offline GPS map, which works directly on your phone without the need for an internet connection.
This is an unforgettable way to experience Tuscany independently, with expert guidance built into the itinerary.

Schedule

Important Notes
- Every participant must be proficient in bike riding and in good physical condition.
- Rental agreement and deposit required: €200 (bike) / €500 (E-bike), held on card and automatically released after the tour.
- Please bring a fully charged phone and a power bank for navigation.
